Travel to Toledo

Toledo, fortified easy to walk city full of charm.

We took the train from Madrid, it takes only 45 min, purchased tickets on trainline for 25$ roundtrip departing from Estación Atocha.

One Day Trip

• Take the bus from the train station to Plaza de Zocodover. The walk from the train station to the main part of the city us steep, I recommend you take the bus up. Cheap and runs every few minutes.

  

• Visit Museo Militar and go up Alcazar for great city views.

• Walk towards Plaza Mayor.

• Visit the Cathedral (look for Saint Ursula's remains).

• Walk towards Puerta Nueva de Bisagra for a walk downhill with a view.

• Eat late lunch at Venta de Aires Restaurante (order cochinillo and lamb chops).

• Walk towards the huge city mechanical stairs and go up.

• Eat ice cream at Las Delicias de San Antonio.
