Travel to Boston

Boston is a very special city. It is a metropolis of dark colored buildings (which you just know are made to withstand the freezing winter) surrounded by universities. The nice thing is you don't truly need a car for a short visit.

  • Walk Newbury Street - start at Boston Commons and spot the tulips in Spring, stop to eat at Scoozi (steak frites and sangria) and have dessert at Lady M or Georgetown Cupcakes

  • Visit Harvard - start where the Law School Library is, it is a cute brick town to walk around and stop at local shops

  • Quincy Market - walk towards Christopher Columbus Waterpark

  • New England Aquarium and see the penguins

  • Have Brunch at Paramount - expect lines

  • See the fireworks from across the bridge on the Fourth of July

  • Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse is a nice waterfront spot for a date

  • Walk by the Charles River

I did not like the city's Franklin Park Zoo. The city is good for living, studying and working, but for visiting (in my opinion) a weekend is enough.
